Stephanie L. Gardner, MS, LCSW

Clinical Director

Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of New England in 2016. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University in 2006. She is EMDR Certified.

 

Stephanie is trained in helping single adults, families, children and those in emotionally abusive situations. She is trained in many therapy techniques including EMDR, DNMS, DBT, CBT, and attachment based therapy among others. Stephanie uses a myriad of tools and techniques to ensure each client has a personally tailored experience. She is familiar with the latest methods to help drive rapid and profound results! 


Stephanie can help with adolescent behavior problems, self-injury, young single adult and single adult relationship issues, failure to launch young adult issues,  and anger management. Stephanie specializes in emotional and psychological abuse, narcissistic abuse, and treating trauma. She also has extensive experience with depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, PTSD, and grief. Stephanie has advanced training in EMDR.

Jessica Furner, LCSW

Therapist

Jessica is an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) she received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Utah State University and her Master's degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. 

 

Jessica is deeply compassionate and caring. She has extensive training in trauma. She received a trauma informed clinical social work certificate and is trained in trauma focused CBT (TF-CBT) as well. 

 

More recently, Jessica worked for LDS Family Services where she treated, individuals, families and youth. She also co-facilitated pornography treatment groups. Jessica also has experience with under-privledged populations and spent time working at the Utah State Prison where she co-facliltated CBI-SA (Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse) groups in Spanish and English. 

 

Jessica is a former employee at CAPSA a non-profit domestic violence, sexual assault and rape recovery center in Cache County. She is trained in sexual assualt and domestic violence and has co-facilitate groups and provided therapy for victims and survivors.  Jessica is trained in CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness and MI. She is experienced with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief and loss, hopelessness, anger, low self-esteem, pornography recovery, youth, and teen issues. 

 

Jessica believes in providing a treatment approach that is driven by the needs, and goals of each individual. She also recognizes that the therapeutic relationship is powerful in assisting clients in gaining insight, healing, and transformation. She is truly passionate about her work as a therapist, and in providing a safe, and supportive environment. Jessica is in network with Selecthealth, DMBA and EMI.  Jessica is also bilingual and can provide services in Spanish and English.

Logan Staheli, LCSW

 

Therapist

Logan is an LCSW (Licensed Clinicial Social Worker) he received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University and his Master's in Social Work from the University of Utah. 

 

Logan is EMDR trained and is excellent with treating trauma. He is also trained in and can treat domestic violence (both perpetrators and survivors/victims), substance abuse, couples, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and pornography addiction.

 

Logan's previous work experience includes working in both residential and outpatient settings. He is a former employee of Provo Behavioral Hospital where he worked with those in memory care and assisted in the chemical dependence units. 

 

Logan has spent time working at Provo School District as a school social worker as well and helping youth and children in individual therapy. He has worked with students who were involved in a variety of issues and he facilitated groups relating to suicide prevention, friendship building, social skills, and behavior management. Logan has also provided care and services to needy and under-served families in the community. 

 

Most recently Logan has been a therapist at the Institute for Cognitive Therapy where he worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Logan is passionate about his work and well trained in creating a safe environment where people can find hope and healing.  Logan uses a variety of modalities including CBT, EMDR, MI, and EFT. He specializes in the treatment of pornography, depression and anxiety and in couples therapy. Logan is in network with Selecthealth, DMBA and EMI. 

Austin Passey, CSW

Therapist

Austin is a CSW (Certified Social Worker). He obtained his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah Sate University and later his Master's in Social Work, also from Utah State University. 

 

Austin has been trained as a registered behavior technician where he learned Behavior Analysis techniques during his time working with kids and adolescents diagnosed with Austim. Austin is also trained in a combination of therapeutic modalities and practices including Cognitive Behaviorlal Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. 

 

Most recently, Austin worked at Whole Kids Emotional Wellness where he helped teens and kids through a variety of issues using a strengths based approach and lens. Austin also worked as a School Social Worker in an elementary school and was a clinicial therapist at a private practice in Idaho. Austin uses principles of CBT and solution focused therapy to help individuals with a wide range of challenges. He treats clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and attachment issues. Austin LOVES working with kids and teens in fun, creative ways, to help empower them to grow and become the best version of themselves. He believes that each person he works with has their own story to tell, and by listening, people can show their strength with their personal narrative. Austin loves working with people of all ages, and is especially great with kids and teens. He loves to connect with all people and meet them where they are at in order to foster a collaborative therapeutic enviroment. 

 

When he is not at work Austin enjoys spending time with his family and being out in nature and the outdoors. Austin is in network with EMI, DMBA and Select Health. Now Accepting New Clients!

 

Jeneille Larsen, MS

Neurodiversity Advocate and Behavior Coach

Jeneille is from Cache Valley, Utah. She received her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Utah State University and her Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Infancy and Family Development and Early Intervention from Bank Street College in New York City. Presently Jeneille is a Doctorate student in Early Childhood Education and Infant Mental Health from Fielding University in California.

 

She works as Special Education Teacher for a K-8 school and provides coaching for families and students with special needs, learning, and behavioral challenges.  Jeneille's life goal is to have a positive influence in the lives of the children and families she works with. She believes that as humans we develop and grow our ability to learn throughout our whole lives. Her aim is to inspire and show students how to become lifetime learners, and to see the world from more than one perspective. She endeavors to be a coach who is not afraid to get messy and be vulnerable. She believes in experiential learning and hopes to show children and parents by example that growth happens in moments of risk and vulnerability.

 

Things Jeneille specializes in and can help families with:

  • One-on-one help and training for parents and children with special educational and behavioral needs (Learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Aditory processing, etc).
  • She can assist in creating more positive parent/child relations through hands on regular family meetings to teach the skills and tools needed to help you communicate better with and to understand your child. 
  • She can be an advocate and provide information about school support for students (IEPs, 504s) and she can walk you through the process for how to secure these accomodations for your student/child. 
  • She can provide assistance with requesting school evaluations and Special Education information
  • She supports parent and child rights in the classroom and at school
  • She can review evaluations and/or IEP goals and accommodations
  • She can provide available resources for families to support student needs at school and at home
  • She can provide coaching and hand's on support for positive child and family relations and behaviors
  • She can provide skills and strategies to support challenging behaviors at home and/or at school
  • She can provide strategies to assist students and families in gaining success in the classroom and with schoolwork/homework.

Anneli Howells

Office Manager

 

Anneli is a fun loving extremely friendly person.  She is very aquainted and familiar with mental health issues and mental health settings. Anneli understands what it takes to find the courage to begin your own healing journey and she is here to support you all along the way and to answer any questions you may have regarding our services.

 

In her spare time when she's not at work Anneli enjoys running marathons, spending time with family and friends and hiking. Anneli can also be found on a nearby lake paddleboarding as often as she can! Anneli can be reached anytime M-Th between 9-5pm at (801) 876-0036 or by emailing  officemanager@actuallyconnect.com.
